1998. City of Hobart Art Prize
Widely regarded as one of the most unique contemporary prizes in Australia, the City of Hobart Art Prize is a major showcase of the rich and diverse talent in Australian art, craft and design. Over four categories, there are two acquisitive prizes and a People’s Choice Prize. Each year, two different artform categories are open to practicing artists and craftspeople.
In Full Bloom continues the exploration of the transition from girlhood to womanhood that was explored in When the roses fit wear them.
