Industrial Desire

June 11, 2010

Opening at Artisan on 10 June, 2010, is Industrial Desire, an exhibition in partnership with the College of Creative Studies, Detroit, showcasing scale models of fantastic concept vehicles.

I have to say, that on paper, this wasn’t an exhibition I was necessarily rushing off to see, but it was well worth the excursion, especially to hear the opening speech by Imre Molnar, Dean of the College for Creative Studies, out from Detroit.

Get along to see the show if you’re in Brisbane. It’s running until 28 August, 2010 and there’s a free curator’s presentation by Leon Fitzpatrick on The Future of Transportation Design on Saturday 12 June, 2010 from 2-3pm.

KT – thanks so much for this quick review! I wasn’t sure if it would be something that would interest me but will make the effort now to get along and see it when I get back! Thanks!!
